Waiting list registration
Families wishing to put their child’s name down on the waiting list register should submit the waiting list registration form (online form), $25 non-refundable application fee, plus proof of residence. Applications are accepted from the time of your child’s birth, with priority given to current kindergarten families and siblings as per our enrolment policy.
Young siblings of current or past DNMK children still require a waiting list registration form to be submitted.

Getting an offer & enrolment
In August of the year prior to your child’s attendance, DNMK will email offers to families on the waiting list register. Positions are offered following DNMK’s priority of access as per our enrolment policy. Parents are required to respond to the emailed offer within the stipulated time frame to accept the position. An enrolment pack including instruction on completing enrolment will be emailed.
Families remaining on the waiting list will be contacted with an update on where they sit in relation to gaining a position in the event any enrolled families withdraw.

After enrolment
Once the enrolment process is underway opportunities to begin your connection to our kindergarten commence:
- Parent Information Evening (held in November).
- Orientation Day – these dates and times will vary depending upon the child’s group. Parents will be notified via email of the orientation program for each child.
Prior to attending kinder the Children’s Services Regulations 2009 require families to have submitted:
- An online enrolment form
- A copy of your child’s immunisation history statement (HIS)
- If required, any supporting medical documentation E.g. asthma management plan, anaphylaxis management plan issued by your doctor
