Payment of fees
Invoices will be issued two weeks prior to end of term and must be paid by the due date. Invoices not paid by the due date will incur an interest fee of $5 per week.
Commitment fee deposit
Parents/guardians are required to pay the fee deposit of $100 on acceptance of an offer of a place. Payment will secure the child’s place in a kindergarten program.
Building maintenance levy
In addition to term fees, a twice yearly $150 building maintenance levy is required for each child’s attendance at DNMK, payable with Term 1 & Term 4 fees. DNMK has 2 working bees per year, and family representation at each working bee will be credited with $50 per working bee off the maintenance levy in Term 4. Our kindergarten building was built in 1928 and we have the obligation and privilege to preserve the building for future generations.
Children turning three during the year
Children can only commence the program once they have turned three. Full payment from the first day of Term 1 is required if a place is to be reserved for a child in the 3-year-old kindergarten program.
Late-collection charge
The committee of management/board reserves the right to implement a late-collection charge when parents/guardians are frequently late in collecting a child. The fee is $50 for every 15 minutes.
4yo Government Funding
The 4yo program is partly funded by the State Government. The fees outlined on the Statement of Fees and Charges are in addition to any funding received from the State Government. Please note that kindergarten families are not able to claim any rebate under the new Child Care Subsidy introduced 2 July, 2018.
